My happy, healthy boys

For most of my life, I've been aware of, and sympathetic to, people in need, people whose lives aren't quite as awesome as they'd like them to be, and people who are sick. I am very grateful for my average existence. I am healthy, my children are healthy, my bills are paid, and we eat well and enjoy activities that put smiles on all of our faces. Not everyone has that.

I also believe that small acts of kindness are what make the world ultimately a better place, so I've resolved to perform acts of unnecessary kindness whenever I can.

In addition to my small acts of unnecessary kindness, I'm going to dedicate one blog post per month to letting you guys know all about what other people are doing to help those in need. Many beauty brands have community or charity programs that they are involved in, and I'd like to help raise awareness for them, and maybe tell you guys about cool things that you might not have known you could get involved with.
