Welcome back to KBS in 2015

Hello, beauties!

It's been forever since I sat down and just wrote a good old blog post, but today I've been super productive and moved a bunch of video content over here to the blog ( I PROMISE to be faster with that this year...moving 2 months worth of videos is a massive job!) so I thought I'd write you guys a note and include some Kitstagrams from the end of last year to update you all with what I've been up to!

Some blog/youtube goals for 2015:
500 subscribers
50,000 total youtube views
Stick to a MWF upload schedule with new and creative content

Write more blog posts (at least 1 per month)
Transfer/post Youtube content to the blog as it's uploaded
I think that's enough goals for now. Having goals that include sticking to the things I've promised my viewers is quite hilarious, I think.

Now for a bit of Kitstagram.
First, we went to Melbourne Zoo on Christmas day. It was a fantastic day, even though the zoo was very crowded. Silly me thought it would be a quiet day there, but apparently it's the busiest day of the year for zoo-goers! This is us at the end of it all, enjoying an icy-pole.

Now that my broken ankle is fully healed (a full YEAR later!), I'm throwing myself into health and fitness with a kind of motivation I've never had before. I'm eating cleaner, and completely addicted to exercise!

I'm signed up with the gym and visiting there at least 3 times a week, absolutely loving the weights training that I'm doing. I'm stronger than I've ever been and the results are awesome. I feel great, I'm starting to look better as a result, and I'm very happy.

As a part of my fitness routine, I've started to tackle this monster hill a couple of times a week! The circuit is quite demanding, but I'm loving the challenge, and it's becoming something I look forward to, rather than dreading. It starts with 140 stairs down to the beach, a 200mt trek through the sand, then this crazy 45% gradient hill....followed by a cool-down 500mt walk back to the start. We do it 2 or 3 times, and finish up all sweaty and worn out. The added bonus is that the kids love to come along with me!
Summer is here, so we've been spending some time at the beach. The kids love it, and we're blessed to live in one of the most beautiful places on earth (Melbourne's Mornington Peninsula, for those of you who don't know).

Even on overcast days, we love to go and get our toes wet (and freezing cold!) in the sea, build sand castles, and just generally hang out having fun.
Now for some new things in my life: A couple of months ago, I had a big tattoo done on my right thigh. It's a tree with a trunk that's twisted into a DNA strand, and I LOVE it. Nick from Ink Fix in mornington did a fantastic job, and I have a video coming with all the details and finished pics, as well as some tips for taking care of new body mods (I also have some new piercings that have healed beautifully and I'll go into some detail about those in the video when it comes out).
Last, but not least, we have a new member in our family. Mindy came to us from RSPCA Vic, and we love her, even if she's noisy and a little bit demanding.

If you've been watching my YouTube videos, you will already have met Mindy, but she's definitely worth mentioning in my first Kitstagram of 2015, because she's become a true family member and I don't know what life would be like without her now.

So that's my first blog post for 2015. I promise there will be more updates and Kitstagrams, and lots of exciting stuff for you guys this year. I can't wait to get started on it all!

Enjoy your start to 2015, beauties!
